MULTIPLAYER MODE CONFIRMED: THE LAST OF US

The concept for T’he Last of Us‘ has arose ,Right after watching a segment of the BBC nature documentary ‘Planet Earth’  , which documented a cordyceps fungus-infected ant, where the fungus takes over its brain and producing growths from its head.

RELEASE DATE DELAYS SUGGEST PS4 LAUNCH LIKELY: GTA 5

Few days ago Rockstar Games has announced  Grand Theft Auto V will push back for a September release according to CVG  Cowen & Company ,   Doug Creutz analyze and make a statement  that Rockstar might have been delaying their title for PS4? (Maybe , not confirmed though)
“In and of itself, the delay of the game from FQ1 to FQ2 would not normally mean any significant change to expected FY14 financial results- Was made a statement by Creutz
“However there is an issue in that we expect the next generation of Xbox and/or PlayStation consoles to launch in the December quarter. We think the closer proximity of GTA V to the next cycle could, at the margin, impact lifetime sales of the title, though we believe that a title of GTA’s stature will still be a major seller regardless”
“We think there also could be some impact on the legs of likely GTA V downloadable content as the next-gen installed base increases through 2014. However, we suspect Take-Two may have plans to eventually publish GTA V on the next set of consoles in some form to offset this.”
There’s a possibility  GTA 5 delays could  hit next-gen consoles despite the fact Sony teased  The future of Playstation, which   held the   PS4 release date. Whilst Creutz  suggested this.

GTA 5: MISSION DETAILS, CHARACTER SWITCHING, OPEN-WORLD HEISTS REVEALED

On a report today, dutch gaming website GameKings managed to get in contact with Rockstar Games’ Dan Houser to discuss Grand Theft Auto V. GameKings posted a video about the game throughout their trip to the studio.
The video gives new details about the game and some description about what the press saw at an event currently held by the studio.
According to the feature, Houser invigorated that the scene in which the press members who observed a gameplay demo of GTA V can see Michael sitting by the pool isn’t a cutscene, but a playable section of the game. The mission showcased to the press was real gameplay, and not a scripted sequence. Neither of these scenes have been shown to the public as of yet, and should not be confused with the game’s second trailer.
Each individual character advances a mission through different means. For example, Michael and Trevor adavnces the mission by helicopter, meanwhile Franklin gets there on his motorbike.
The game’s mechanism gives players an indicator for each and every protagonist on the zoomed out map. It switches between the game’s three protagonists, Michael, Franklin and Trevor. The system is unscripted, you can switch to these characters throughout the game. This differs from Heavy Rain’s linear narrative, which forces players into the roles of the different protagonists throughout the story.
In line with GTA V’s free-form gameplay, players will be able to perform heists and hijackings by following armored vans and take the money for themselves. The game is also not different from Red Dead Redemption in that sense.
Both characters such as Michael and Trevor are former bankrobbers with criminal pasts, and the much younger Franklin sees them as anti-role models.
Rockstar said to have done a lot of research on the LAPD, and San Quentin State Prison. Presumably, these real life places will have analogues within Los Santos.
You can view the original video at GameKings if you can comprehend the language.

6 REASONS YOU SHOULD LOOK FORWARD INTO GRAND THEFT AUTO V

6 Reasons You Should Look Forward To Grand Theft Auto V

Last Major GTA Title This Gen

GTA V will release September 17, 2013.

Los Santos Is Back

Los Santos is a city located in the southwest part of the United States in the state of San Andreas. The city will be the main setting of Grand Theft Auto V. Los Santos is based on Los Angeles, California. Los Santos is Spanish for “The Saints”, a play on “The Angels”. The city is big enough for a full size, 18 hole golf course. In other words, it’s huge and will have all sorts of exciting things to do. I’m not sure if people would stop robbing and start playing golf, but the option is there.

Three Different Protagonists To Play As

  • Michael
Occupation: Retired criminal
Age: Early 40s
Location: Rockford Hills
About: Highly successful bank robber who retired and went into FIB witness protection with a sweet deal. He and his wife Amanda have a rocky relationship and kids Tracy & Jimmy are not understandable anymore. With the wife spending money endlessly and domestic life driving him crazy, Michael needs to get back into “the business”. He is friends with Trevor. Note: This character may have been codenamed “Albert De Silva” from casting calls at the bottom of this page related to “Kevin De Silva”.
  • Trevor Phillips
Occupation: Career criminal
Age: Early 40s
Location: Blaine County
About: Crazy, drug abusing ex-military pilot who lives in a trailer out in the desert. Did we mention Trevor is crazy? He is friends with Michael and used to rob banks with him. Note: This character may have been codenamed “Simon” from casting calls at the bottom of this page.
Special Skills: Aircraft, Gasoline trails
  • Franklin
Occupation: Repo man
Age: Mid 20s
Location: South Los Santos
About: Franklin works for an Armenia luxury car dealer and does repossession when customers can’t pay. He hangs out with crazy, immature friends but running into Michael shows him another way to live.
Special Skills: Chop

Customization

Game Informer confirmed that we will be able to change clothing but RPG elements such as fat gain would not be returning. Dan Houser stated the standard definition graphics of San Andreas were more forgiving and that doing it with GTA V would take up too many resources to get the look right. It can also be said that Rockstar’s focus on the story and skill set of each character prevents customization that would get too unrealistic.

Cash To Spend

What can you do with all that money after stealing it. GTA V will have a an economy system to it, giving players a good number of things to buy. However, properties won’t be one of them, as Rockstar decided to leave out buying real estate in this game.

Multi-player

Rockstar wouldn’t say much more than confirm its existence, such as whether it was story based of a separate mode. We just hope they learned some lessons from GTA IV’s hit-or-miss online features.

CRYTEK DOESN’T EXPECT NEXT GENERATION LAUNCH TITLES TO LOOK MUCH DIFFERENT THAN CRYSIS 3

Yerli told that he doesn’t think his firm can do anything more on present consoles than what it has accomplished with Crysis 3. mean while speaking with CVG
“Crytek’s projects generally will be way above what we’ve achieved on the existing consoles,” he said. “I actually think people will be astonished that next-gen launch titles from other companies might not be much different from Crysis 3.”
Yerli then went on to praise his team for creating a game with its own “visual identity.”
“Iitts a world that hasn’t been done before, that kind of depiction, the quality and level of immersion,” he said. “I think no game has ever done that kind of setting, it’s a visual spectacle.”
Crysis 3 is out on February 19 in North America and on February 22 in Europe for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

Sean showed us some things we have already seen at E3, such as the Canyon level, which shows one of the new particle systems (particle shading and lighting). The new particle system makes the game look fantastic, with vibrant colors to paint the world you are playing in.

NEXT CALL OF DUTY TO HAVE BETTER GRAPHICS?

Rumours have been circulating for months about their possible involvement in the next Call of Duty release but there is no official statement there. The release date seems plausible, although the fact that it is a Monday has a few doubters. The image seems a little too reminiscent of Black Ops 2…and what about the line ‘Ready to get back to basics’? OK enough said?
The image is stamped with a release date of 11-11-13 and bears the Neversoft and Activision brand.  The rumour mill is pumping again. While avid Black Ops 2 fans are wracking up double XP points this weekend, stories are popping up everywhere about an image that may be advertising the release of the next Call of Duty title.
A visit to Neversoft’s website and the first thing you see is Call of Duty splashed across their page.  So is this just a  fake? Only a few days after the ‘Orientation’ tale, most of us are skeptical.
Naturally he didn’t offer any details in regards to platforms and the story’s time period.During a conference call following Activision Blizzard’s fourth quarter and calendar year 2012 results (pdf), Activision CFO Dennis Durkin confirmed that the Call of Duty franchise will see another installment in 2013 that will “raise the bar even higher”.
He noted that in the short term, 2013 will likely fall below the company’s record selling 2012 performance due to the challenged global economy, the “ongoing console transition” and the success of Diablo III. Launched last May, the action-RPG was the #1 best-selling PC game at retail, breaking PC-game sales records with more than 12 million copies sold worldwide through December 31, 2012.
On a non-GAAP basis, the company’s net revenues were a record $2.60 billion, as compared with $2.41 billion for the fourth quarter of 2011.Activision’s most recent Call of Duty installment, Black Ops 2, grossed $1 billion in the first 15 days of its release. This helped propel the company’s better-than-expected fourth quarter results: a record GAAP net revenues of $1.77 billion, as compared with $1.41 billion for the fourth quarter of 2011.
“We are very pleased to report that Activision Blizzard delivered the best performance in its history,” Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick stated. “As we look to 2013, we will continue to invest in our established franchises, as well as several new properties. We expect these investments to drive our growth over the long term and to enable us to deliver superior returns to our shareholders in the years to come.”
This uncertainty alone must be tough to face for the console industry on a whole. That said, in a market dominated by cheap, high-quality mobile games, pricing will be crucial for console makers and publishers alike. Consumer reactions to the new platforms are unknown at this point: will they want to invest in next-gen hardware, or keep what they have and invest in a tablet instead?
As it stands now, Sony and Microsoft have yet to officially announce their next-generation systems although numerous reports point to a possible 2013 retail debut. As for the note about “transitioning consoles”, it seemingly indicates that the company is understandably facing an uncertainty about what 2013 will bring.

CRYSIS 3′S GRAPHICS ONLY 5 TO 10% BETTER ON CONSOLE, SAYS CRYTEK CEO

Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli said that Crysis 3 on the Xbox 360 and PS3 will naturally look better than Crysis 2, but graphically-speaking, it could only gain a five to 10 percent improvement on consoles.

Like the first Crysis, Crytek are trying to melt down PCs with Crysis 3, and based on some of the impressive gameplay footage of the very-soon-to-be-released game, that certainly appears to be the case. At least for the PC version.
“So I think it’s above Crysis 2 on consoles.”
“We gained on consoles visually and perception wise of quality through different techniques, not just brute force technology,” That’s understandable considering a lot of game developers have probably maxed out the power of current-gen consoles, which are near the end of their life-cycle. However, this doesn’t mean that Crysis 3 won’t look better than Crysis 2.  continued Yerli.
“This time around the consoles couldn’t gain much more,” For consoles, not much could be pushed on the graphic side of things. Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli told Eurogamer in an interview. “It was like a five per cent or ten per cent gain. That’s it.”
So that’s encouraging, but we all know that the PC version of the game will look far sexier, and as a console gamer myself, that saddens me. I want grafix pr0n, too!
Even if Crysis 3 is only a five to 10 percent improvement, “most games are not even anywhere near Crysis 2 technically,” Yerli claimed last year in November, adding that “Crysis 3 is absolutely maxing out the consoles” and that there’s “absolutely not even 1% left.”
Why not give a try watching the 1st part walk-through, and check out gameplay footage

ASSASSIN’S CREED IV: SINGLE PLAYER REQUIRES AN INTERNET CONNECTION FOR NEXT GENERATION CONSOLES

Next-generation consoles should require an internet connection to play the game’s single player campaign, said Ubisoft for their next franchise in series for Assassin’s Creed, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. This is due to the reason that the next PlayStation, PlayStation 4 will be featuring a social sharingfor the games and PlayStation 4 influencing this decision over.
This is what the Creative Head Jean Guesdon said,
ACIVBF will also be available on Next Gen consoles. In addition to improved graphics and physic, Next Gen versions will bring to the players new connected features allowing them to feel that even if they remain “Single Player” it will be better to be a “Single Connected Player.” “I mean, that Next Gen Consoles will allow players to have a solo experience that benefit the presence of a huge community.”
It is still not yet clarified that the internet connection should “Always Be On” or if the single player is playable or impacted without it.
This is not featured for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 of the game, but Wii U might be affected depending if Ubisoft includes those social features for that version.

TREYARCH IS AWARE: BLACK OPS 2 FREEZING ISSUES

For those who have been playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 since launch, you might have encountered an annoying bug that makes the game stutter and freeze when checking player profiles while in the game.

Treyarch is “aware” of the issue, and game director David Vahn Vonderhaar has acknowledged it on his Twitter.
A fan tweeted “There is an issue with checking profiles in game. Whole thing freezes, unable to move or do anything. Requires dashboard,” and Vonderhaar replied with, “Known issue. Thanks for the report.”
For the PS3, checking someone’s profile or even fiddling with menus when the match starts results in the first few seconds stuttering and getting a “Connection Interrupted” message pop up twice. This is based on my experience and is really annoying when you’re playing Domination and want to cap the first flag. Other platforms have had similar issues, and hopefully they will be fixed soon.

TOMB RAIDER: ACHIEVEMENTS LEAK, REQUIRE EXTENSIVE TIME IN MULTIPLAYER

A full list of Achievements for the upcoming Tomb Raider reboot has found its way onto the internet, and plenty of the tasks ask for dozens of hours spent in the game’s multiplayer modes.
Controversy has surrounded Crystal Dynamics’ Tomb Raider at seemingly every turn. First, the game caught heat for the concept of players “protecting” Lara Croft from danger, and then the introduction of a multiplayer feature threw the internet into an angry spiral. Those who don’t agree with the team’s decision to include a competitive experience may not like that fact that there are plenty of Achievements that correspond with it.
Exophase was the first to post the full list of Achievements to the world, and while players looking forward to the title should avoid checking them out for the sake of spoilers, it’s interesting to see that over a dozen of them ask buyers to sink a significant amount of time online. The most egregious of the bunch requires players to reach the game’s max rank of 60.
Every little detail can be seen right here.
What do you think about all of these Achievements? Will you be playing much of the game’s multiplayer? Let us know what you think by leaving a comment below!

CALL OF DUTY: MODERN WARFARE 4 MULTIPLAYER DETAILS LEAKED

mw4-leaked-info
There are more numerous development seen in the growth of online multiplay and the expansion of services like PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE, it’s like the online the video games have entered into a next level of multiplaying with the new multiplayer feature being added in different games.
There are some new information being spread about the upcoming Call Of Duty franchise, Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4.
The question on every gamers’ mind, on how does this upcoming multiplayer portion of this particular forth coming franchise in Call Of Duty going to look like, as the technology demos released two days ago.
To wrap-up the news, YouTube user Matroix had tried to cover up some of the information about the multiplayer feature of the upcoming Call Of Duty franchise, Call Of Duty. He believes that the source information to be accurate and exclaims that, “It’s very exciting news, indeed.”
“Slide” is what he expects to be the new feature added to to upcoming game along with the Call of Duty’s “Dolphin Dive,” where the player had give the odd job of jumping forward into a prone position while sprinting. The only difference between the Dolphin Dive from the new Slide feature is that the player can slide on their knees rather than with their stomach, and could shoot mid-slide.
He thinks the other movement-based ability that will be added in the next game is an addition to the “prone” position that gamers have come to know so well. With this new movement, players have the option to roll from side to side while they are in the prone position. This would come as a welcome change to gameplay, as right now gamers have to stand up, turn around and run if they are found to be at a disadvantage.
The final feature that he expects is that the ability to lean out from a cover has been only spotted on the PC version of Call of Duty since the first Modern Warfare game. For some reason, it’s been left out from the console versions. This simple movement will now be available to the consoles from the next Call Of Duty game, says Matroix’s source.
