Design :
The Nokia Lumia 1520 features a 6-inch full HD IPS LCD Screen(1920*1080) with a pixel density of 368ppi.It has a thickness of just a 8.7mm,pretty impressive for a phablet. It is equipped with the super sensitive touch technology and due to its IPS (In-plane switching) display,provides outstanding viewing angles. It also features in Corning Gorilla Glass 2 and Nokia's newest Assertive Display Technology which provides improved Sunlight readability experience than its predecessors. It also has an Ambient Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Proximity Sensor and a magnetometer.

Hardware:

The Nokia Lumia 1520 is the only Lumia Device till date featuring The 2.2 Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Quad core Processor. It has a 2gb of ram with 32 GB Of Inbuilt Storage with an expandable memory card slot of upto 64GB. It also has its 7GB of free Cloud Storage on Skydrive.
The Nokia Lumia 1520 sports in a 3400mah of battery. It has Bluetooth 4.0 support built in.

Camera:

The Nokia Lumia 1520 has a 20MP Pureview Camera with auto focus technology. It has the branded ZEISS Optics and an aperture of f/2.4. It also has dual LED Flash and outstanding Low-light photography when compared to the many flagships available in the market in present. The image quality is also outstanding when it shapes in front of the flagship devices.
It also features in Optical Image Stabilization.

The Lumia 1320 is a budget 6-inch HD Phablet developed by Nokia. It would rival the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 which was a new device launched by Samsung on the 4th week of November.

Many Nokia Lumia users are facing this weird problem that after a update is installed,the phone restarts and wont bring to the metro screen but would show a sad face and wont be working even when fighting with batteries. To those users, there is a fix given out for the devices.

The problem may cause due to excess memory utilisation preventing the device to switch on.To fix it,perform the following steps:

Step 1

Make sure the charger is disconnected.
1. Switch the power Off.
2. Press and hold the Volume down and connect the charger, if succeed an exclamation mark (!) is shown on the screen.

(To exit press the Volume Down + Power Key and hold them for 10 seconds).

Step 2
Then input Keys in the following order:
1. Volume up
2. Volume down
3. Power
4. Volume down

Step 3
The phone will reset and boot up automatically.

A uni body device is one which is made of a single piece of material,hence, People would not find any detachable parts or screws and non-removable back. Most phones which do freeze/hang make users remove the back cover and reinstall the battery..But what to do if the phones which have non-removable covers are on a freeze or hang. Well here's a solution for the Nokia Lumia uni body Devices:

First of all the freeze may happen due to excessive multitasking or when playing/watching a high quality movie.In order to fix it, uni-body Lumia Devices can be resetted so that the phone restarts and again works like a charm. To do this just hold the down volume button and the power button, press it together and release it when there is a vibration feel. The phone would restart and would show the Nokia Logo.

Note: Soft Reset does not delete any of your data.

As per reports, the Nokia EOS, which is Nokia’s much talked about camera phone, is said to be undergoing testing by AT&T with the code name Elvis. While till now no details about the device, especially the camera, are available, rumours claim that the phone may be launched on July 9.

The Nokia EOS, is expected to have a powerful camera like the 41 MP camera of the Nokia 808 PureView. Also considering Nokia’s excellence in low-light photography in the Lumia phones, the EOS should be even better than that.

According to the sources, the Nokia EOS could be comparable to the Nokia Lumia 920 when it comes design, except that the polycarbonate body is highly tapered at both ends, giving the impression of a much slimmer device. Even the screen size and resolution is the same as the Lumia 920.

When it comes to the camera, it is said that there is a sensor bulge which houses the camera and the Xenon flash along with a small red LED which seems to be a focus assist light. Even though the number of pixels are not marked, the flash and lens are both smaller than the Nokia 808 PureView. There is a new camera app called “Nokia Pro Camera” with a completely new interface and manual focus.

Images of an alleged Nokia EOS chassis have leaked from what appears to be a factory, lending some credence to previous rumors of a camera-centric handset from the Finnish outfit. Shots from GSM Arena and others also show what looks like a Nokia Lumia 920, right down to the position of the ports and buttons -- but with an enormous camera bump that takes up almost half of the back cover. So far we've seen it leak out in yellow, red and black, and if it's real, looks to be the holy grail that many Nokia lovers have been seeking: a Lumia 920 and Pureview 808mashup, resulting in a 41-megapixel WP8 handset. All that giddiness aside, such a device could merely be a prototype and will stay a rumor until confirmed by Nokia -- meanwhile, you can check the source and coverage links below for many, many more images, and decide for yourself.

The HTC 8X is one of the recently announced Windows based models in the HTC lineup. The phone runs onWindows Phone 8 OS and it is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual core processor. The phone also incorporates a 1 GB RAM to help in easy multitasking. 

Design 

The HTC 8X weighs about 130 grams and it measures about 10.1 mm thickness. The 4.3-inch S-LCD2 display screen of the phone provides HD visuals at a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The display screen of the handset is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 2. 

Features 

The 8 MP primary camera present in the HTC 8X can be used for clicking pictures. Users can record HD videos at 1080p. The phone also features a 2 MP secondary camera for making video calls. The 1800 mAh battery loaded in the phone offers sufficient talk time and standby time. The phone only has 16 GB internal memory. This cannot be expanded further. 

Entertainment features present in the phone include music player, video player, social networking apps and games etc. High speed internet is possible through 3G and Wi-Fi. 2G internet is also available through GPRS and EDGE. Many other high end features are also available in this Windows based smartphone. 

The Nokia Lumia 620 was the affordable windows phone 8 (cheapest) from such a great builder NOKIA. But now Nokia Lumia 520 is the cheapest windows phone 8 from nokia. Yet there are somethings that 520 lacks from 620 because of the cash cutting ratios. Nothing much different. The front camera and NFC aren't available in 520, whereas the screen size is 0.2 inches smaller and super sensitive touch screen (the touch screen which can be used with gloves) aren't available in 620. So lets go for the specifications....

• The lumia 620 is CANDY BAR in form factor with smooth curved edges compact in size.
• The phone feels chunky in hand. So the form factor is really good.
• It is 1.1 cm thick. i.e., it is not slim compared to  the smart phones of these times.
• The back covers are totally changeable but nokia does not provide these additional panel covers with the purchase of the mobile phone.So it is an accessory.

• It has the Clear black display so that the daylight reading outside in sum light is also great.
• The lumia 620 comes with a capacitive touch screen with multitouch of 3.8 inches in size.
• Te screen is silicon coated so that the screen does not get smudgy even after a long term usage.
• The viewing angles are really prefect and are awesome.....
• The screen is not gorilla glass but hardened nokia glass that is almost similar to gorilla glass.

• Digital Dolby of lumia is one technology that android hasn't got yet.
• Nokia lumia 620 comes with a loud speaker that is really really very loud. It is like you will just have to use the mobile phone with 3 to 4 points in phone
• It also comes with a 3.5 mm stereo headphone jack.
• Nokia recommends the Monster headphones for the great quality of music.
• One more key feature that makes lumia series stand out from crowd is their own nokia apps like nokia music, nokia maps, city lens etc..

Hardware:

• The nokia lumia 620 comes with a very good cpu and gpu configurations.
• This is the most descent phone that you can find at this price with this hw spec.
• Lumia 620 comes with a dedicated gaming gpu Adreno 205 which is the second best graphic card right now in the market.
• Cpu comes with 1GHz processor and 512 MB of RAM, which is a bit disappointing because 512 MB RAM is not that much future proof..
• Otherwise this phone is awesome..
• Since this is windows OS all windows phone comes hooked up with xbox gaming hub.
• You can play the live games in this phone and update your scores.
• All games are supported for nokia lumia 620 but not temple run since that needs 1GB RAM.
• Yet this mobile phone is great for gaming.

While Nokia has been slowing down in Indian smartphone markets with the unabated rise of Samsung, the company seems to have some plans to revive itself in the country.

Barely a month after the Nokia Lumia 925 was launched globally, the smartphone has made a guest appearance on the official Nokia India website. While India was not on the first list of countries to see the Nokia Lumia 925, we were pleasantly surprised to see the device listing. Unfortunately the price in India was not mentioned.

In the meanwhile, the Nokia Lumia 920, which was launched a few months back in India, has received a hefty price cut. The device which was launched at Rs. 38199 is now priced at Rs. 32639 on the manufacturer’s website. Seems like the company is trying to make way for the new devices to enter the country. Also the company is throwing in a free wireless charger, priced at Rs 3,000, with the handset.

We recently tried the Nokia Lumia 720 and its camera did impress us. Nokia Lumia 720 beats every other phone when it comes to the camera, in the price range in which it is available.

The new PureView and Ois filters have been added not in the usual way through an app update. Instead, all you need do is load the app and you’ll find they are already there, which is kind of neat in it own way.

Nokia's Lumia 710 is a budget follow-up to its first Windows Phone 7 handset, the Nokia Lumia 800.

It's very slightly larger than the 800 in all dimensions, has the same Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango) operating system and 3.7in 480x800 display, but the screen is TFT rather than AMOLED, the camera is a 5 rather than 8-megapixel version and it has 8GB rather than 16GB of storage. The 1.4GHz single-core processor is identical.

The phone feels very well built, with a classy edge-to-edge glass fascia and a colourful backplate. Windows Phone 7 Mango brings numerous improvements to the original, including smartphone staples such as multi-tasking and copy and paste. It feels really responsive in everyday use, much more so than the Android interface, and it's attractive and slick. You can add multiple Windows Live accounts, as well as Gmail and Exchange. We're particularly fond of the email client, which is one of the only mobile clients we've seen with an unread message view, but the calendar isn’t brilliant - entries in the month view are too small to view so you have to zoom into the day, and there's no week view.

Web browsing using Internet Explorer is fast. Double-tapping a page zooms in to a more readable level than the default zoom. In our side-by-side tests, however, we didn't notice much of a speed difference between the two browsers.

Since its launch, the Windows Phone Marketplace has expanded to over 60,000 apps. It may not have as many apps as its rivals, but the quality has improved greatly since our last visit, with some bigger names visible such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Spotify. Sadly, some of these apps aren't highly rated, and some, such as Microsoft's YouTube app, are simply shortcuts to a mobile version of a web site.

Microsoft software handles most of the 710's main tasks: Xbox Live for games, Zune for music and videos and Office for business files. Nokia has included its Drive satnav app, and there's also a link to download Nokia Maps from the Marketplace, but we don’t think Nokia Maps offers much over Windows Phone 7's own Bing Maps. And at the same time Nokia city lens is the greatest map application ever than any other maps provided by the rivals.

Nokia has integrated its music service, which works reasonably well. The Music app lets you log into your Nokia Music account - a boon for those who've previously bought a Nokia phone and acquired music that can only be played on Nokia devices. The Music app's Mix Radio function is worth a look - it's a collection of pre-defined playlists designed to introduce you to artists on Nokia's roster, and it's easy to download individual songs that tickle your fancy. The track listings veer towards the popular, but there are some good tunes on there and you can save a playlist for offline playback.

To transfer music and videos to the phone and to get your photos off, you need to use the Zune desktop software. This is a reasonable media player and interface, but we weren't particularly keen on having to use it - we prefer just dragging and dropping files in Windows Explorer, as you can with an Android phone.

Hardware-wise, the Lumia 710 is an excellent phone. It feels just the right size and shape and feels well made. There's a dedicated camera shutter button, and we liked the physical Back, Home and Search buttons. Our only real gripe is the top-mounted power button which you need to unlock the screen; we prefer the Lumia 800's side-mounted model.

The Lumia 710's 3.7in screen looks sharp, and colour and contrast are great - Nokia's ClearBlack technology works well with Windows Phone 7's primary colours, and the screen is very bright. It's not up there with the Lumia 800's OLED display, though - blacks aren't as deep and viewing angles aren't as wide. The touch interface is smooth and responsive, although it lacks an oleophobic coating to stop fingerprints smudging.

The camera takes good shots, although under fluorescent lighting it picked up a bit of chroma noise. Images were crisp and had natural colours, and the LED flash works well to illuminate dark areas. Videos share the same good image quality, but movement was jerky and focus seemed to jump about in video mode. It's not up there with the Lumia 800's camera.

It's worth pointing out that despite a total of 8GB storage, you only have about 4GB free to store your own apps, photos, videos and music, and there's no memory card slot for expansion. You can use the free 25GB of cloud storage you get with Microsoft's SkyDrive, but then downloads will cut into your data plan. Battery life is also disappointing: in our video playback test, the Lumia 710 only lasted for four hours and 19 minutes, compared to 5h 48m from the Lumia 800; we've yet to see a Windows Phone 7 handset with particularly impressive battery life.

There's no doubt the Lumia 710 is a slick, powerful and well-designed phone. Windows Phone 7's app selection may have some catching up to do, but it's still a great operating system, so if you're willing to take the plunge this fun, chunky handset is a good way to go about it. The Nokia Lumia 800 has more storage space and a better camera and screen, and is only around £5 a month more expensive on a similar contract, though.
