An updated video tutorial soon.

Unlike most games that rush the gamers through with tons cinematic scenes that make them feel as if they’re watching a movie, Dishonored focuses more on gameplay and freedom of choice with a bare minimum of enough cinematic scenes to hold the story together.
The main gaming focus of Dishonored is freedom of choice. Unlike most games, Dishonored gives the gamer the opportunity to play the game how he feels is best. The main storyline is fixed, but everything else is changeable. The other characters reactions, the side stories, the state of the game world and the ending are all changeable based on your actions.
You can use the bare minimum force to get through missions, only aiming for your objective and killing nearly no one, or brutally kill all in your path. You can sneak around or walk around with guns a blazing. You can kill anyone in your path or simply knock them unconscious.
The world is literally your playground in this game. If you’re feeling gentle about it, there are other ways to deal with assassination targets than killing them outright. You can act a hero seeking justice, or a blood thirsty villain seeking nothing but revenge. The choice is yours in Dishonored.
You start of as Connors, the queen’s personal guard returning from a mission to ask other countries for help treating a plague that ravages your city. You are reunited with your queen only to bear witness to her being murdered and the princess being kidnapped. To make things worse, you are accused of the crime and sent to prison. How will you take things into your own hands and protect your honor?
The wide array of weapons and abilities available make the game have a high replay value. There are several abilities. 'Blink' teleports you in the direction you are pointing and is helpful in switching from hiding spot to hiding spot without being discovered. 'Dark vision' enables you to see enemies and traps through walls or in the dark. 'Devouring swarm' summons a pack of rats that attacks enemies or devours dead bodies. 'Possession' lets you take control of an enemy or an animal for a short duration, using them to bypass security or sneak past enemies. 'Bend time' slows time for a short duration or completely freezes it for a shorter duration. 'Windblast' creates a strong wind that knocks back enemies and breaks open doors.
There are also some passive abilities that are always active. 'Vitality' increases your maximum health and regeneration. 'Blood thirsty' causes adrenaline to build up as you kill enemies, increasing your attack strength. 'Agility' increases your overall movement speed and jumping height. And finally 'Shadow Kill' causes all the enemies you kill to turn to ash.

Another plus point about the game is the fact that it doesn't require a beast computer to be played. It can work even on a low end system with decent graphics and no lagging.
One minor disappointment comes when you use a tool called the heart. The heart is, a you would have guessed, a heart. It has a machine built into it and a light glows whenever you are looking in the direction of a rune or a bone-charm. The heart beats quicker when you're closer to the bone-charm or rune. This gameplay mechanic would be ideal as a treasure hunting mini-game. However, the fun is spoiled by the fact that the locations of runes and bone-charms appear on the mini map whenever the heart is equipped.
Many of us must have played Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.
And many of my friends told me that there's a problem arising that could not load fileSysCheck.cfg

I thought that this issue will be so complicated.
but we tried out making a file in text. In the format .txt
and the renamed the file as fileSysCheck.cfg and put that file in the folder PLAYERS what COD MW2 installed.
And then we tried playing that game.
It works 100%. You can even type in your name in the text document
The inability to connect to Origin is usually a blockage of data somewhere along the route of your Internet connection. Here is a short list of some of the things that can stop you from connecting:
Firewalls
Software firewalls on systems and hardware firewalls on routers will prevent your computer from connecting to our server. Check with your Firewall's manufacturer to learn how to adjust your Firewall settings and allow Origin to connect.
Server outages
Occasionally servers will experience an outage. Typically an outage can last from 24 to 48 hours. Check the official website  for the game you are trying to access, or the official game forums, for any information on server outages.
Internet security software
Internet security software will block or filter information that may be vital for the software to run. check your Internet security software and adjust its settings to allow Origin to access to internet
Scheduled service maintenance
During a scheduled maintenance you will not be able to connect to our servers. Check your game's official site or information on server outages.
If you continue on experiencing connection issues, it is possible that some of the following ports to connect to our servers are closed or blocked from your connection. The blockage can either come from your connection, or your ISP.
In order for Origin to connect to our servers and function properly, you will need to verify that the following ports are open:
TCP ports:
  • 80
  • 443
  • 9960-9969
  • 1024-1124
  • 18000
  • 18120

Losing Connection to EA Servers

If you are having troubles connecting, or losing connection to our EA servers, please read the information below.
First: Are you using a Microsoft/Sony suggested router? The Microsoft and Sony support pages have a wealth of information on how to properly set up your console in your home network including lists of recommended router types.
If you’re using a wireless router connection and experiencing connectivity issues, try plugging your console directly into the router.
If you’re directly connected to your router and still experiencing connectivity issues the problem is more than likely, your NAT type. The easiest and most simple way around these issues is to enable UPnP or Universal Plug-n-Play.
  • First, you need to access your router’s config page to see if it supports UPnP.  Router config pages can usually be found on any literature that came with the device, or even the manufacturer’s website.
  • Usually this is a separate portion of the config page that allows the user to check or uncheck a UPnP box (enable or disable). Once you find this box, enable UPnP and back out.
  • Save your config page changes and reboot your console. Performing a Network test now should reveal that you NAT is open the optimal Online gaming condition
  • Play through a full game to see if the problem persists
The steps for PlayStation 3 are exactly the same except you would change the specific port numbers to-
  • UDP 3659
  • UDP 6000
  • TCP 9946
  • TCP 42100
  • TCP 13000 -> 13100

After forwarding your ports, always make sure to save your config page changes and reboot your kit to ensure that settings are taking effect.
If you are still experiencing problems with disconnects contact your ISP support line to see if setting up a ‘DMZ’ is the right option for you.
Hello guys,
visiting you after a  long break 'caz I had my exams....(Very booooring). But i just had a relief. And i just downloaded the blackbox Mirror's edge and the game is awesome.... You won't believe the amazing running and all that stuff.. If you are a pure gamer you would really love this game (this RUN)...

But i heard  many complaints about the game that it stops working in the splash screen itself (specifically BLACK BOX edition). So here goes the solution.

It is just a very simple method. You would just say "Oh! What the #$%#& ". I just played around with some comparability modes..

Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli said that Crysis 3 on the Xbox 360 and PS3 will naturally look better than Crysis 2, but graphically-speaking, it could only gain a five to 10 percent improvement on consoles.

Like the first Crysis, Crytek are trying to melt down PCs with Crysis 3, and based on some of the impressive gameplay footage of the very-soon-to-be-released game, that certainly appears to be the case. At least for the PC version.
“So I think it’s above Crysis 2 on consoles.”
“We gained on consoles visually and perception wise of quality through different techniques, not just brute force technology,” That’s understandable considering a lot of game developers have probably maxed out the power of current-gen consoles, which are near the end of their life-cycle. However, this doesn’t mean that Crysis 3 won’t look better than Crysis 2.  continued Yerli.
“This time around the consoles couldn’t gain much more,” For consoles, not much could be pushed on the graphic side of things. Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli told Eurogamer in an interview. “It was like a five per cent or ten per cent gain. That’s it.”
So that’s encouraging, but we all know that the PC version of the game will look far sexier, and as a console gamer myself, that saddens me. I want grafix pr0n, too!
Even if Crysis 3 is only a five to 10 percent improvement, “most games are not even anywhere near Crysis 2 technically,” Yerli claimed last year in November, adding that “Crysis 3 is absolutely maxing out the consoles” and that there’s “absolutely not even 1% left.”

Updatewe spent some hands-on time with Project Shield at Nvidia's PAX East Booth. Read our impressions below.
The CES 2013 announcement of the Nvidia Project Shield means that PC games finally have a dedicated handheld system, and the idea isn't completely ridiculous.
Okay, the controller-based design is a little out there at first glance, and many might struggle to see how this could be comfortable. However, flipping open the screen's protective lid and picking up the gamepad feels as natural as can be.
But Nvidia isn't so much concerned about how the things looks as it is about what's going on inside - a Tegra 4 quad-core processor and 72-core GeForce GPU, as you're asking.
Project Shield
Forget the odd design - this feels great in the hands
At PAX East we plunked our con-weary body down in front of a Project Shield handheld synced with a Geforce-equipped PC. We were thankful not only to get some quality time with Nvidia's upcoming handheld, but also to just sit in a chair.
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion was the title being served, and we used the Shield's dual stick and triggers setup to harass some hapless (but not helpless) guards with a few fireballs.
Dual wielding is the standard approach in Oblivion. Players generally equip a weapon or spell in their right hand, with either a defensive item like a shield or a second form of retaliation (sword, mace, lightning bolt, healing spell) in the left.
This is why having two triggers and sticks is so essential to bringing a real gaming experience to handheld. The controls were tight, and when we looked at the computer monitor with its tricked-out Geforce-fueled graphics, it felt like we were getting the best of both worlds: simple console controls and high-end PC graphics.
Wirelessly streaming PC titles to your HDTV is one trick Nvidia plans to teach Shield down the road, but initially this will require a HDMI connection.

Less than keen on the screen

We're glad that Nvidia has thought of that, because no matter how hard you try, a dinky handheld display will never hold a candle to a 1080p screen. It didn't do the Shield any favors to be played right next to a monitor rendering the exact same image, but looking much better.
Sparks and flares coming off our fireball attacks looked dull and blocky. While we were impressed at the one-for-one, zero latency between Shield and the computer it was synced with, it made us wonder why you would use this handheld when you're in the same building as your computer. Being able to bridge your TV and your PC with the Shield is a good reason. It could be a killer feature, especially if you're someone who's bent over backwards to do it with HDMI, using a wireless mouse and keyboard on the couch.
Getting back to the 5-inch display strapped to Project Shield, it's 720p and just 294 ppi. That was nothing to sneeze at a few years ago, but now your average smart phone is rocking ppi in the mid-300's. The lovely new HTC One has 440 ppi. For phones, a ppi in the high 200's, low 300's is mid-range territory.
Android games seem like a better fit for this handheld, since they're played locally and don't require an expensive gaming PC and the will to not use it. Still, that makes us wonder what this handheld will cost, and if it will be worth the price.
Nvidia hasn't opened up about pricing, but The Verge seems to think it won't be cheap. If that's the case, we're not sure the Shield will be able to compete in the Android gaming market. We can't see why someone would choose it over something more affordable, albeit less feature-filled, such as the Moga Pro or a gaming laptop, if it's truly mobile PC gaming they crave.

Not necessarily the final build

As we hacked and slashed our way through the demo, an Nvidia rep told us that the Shield would be fine-tuned a bit before its release. Specifically it's the D-pad and the triggers that might get some tweaking.
While we couldn't find anything amiss with the triggers, the D-pad did feel cheap and imprecise. There wasn't much differentiation between a diagonal and a lateral press. As with the Xbox 360 version, Elder Scrolls just uses the pad for scrolling up and down through weapons and spells, and it was good enough for that. We wouldn't want to use it for a fighting game or a platformer, though.
We were really relieved when the rep highlighted the D-pad as something that could be reworked. Controllers and peripherals aren't really Nvidia's bag, and the fact that it's aware of what's not up to snuff shows that it's doing its homework and easing into this new market smoothly.

Early Verdict

Nvidia Project Shield is supposed to launch in Q2 2013, and it'll be able to play PC, Steam, Android and TegraZone games out of the box.
That's quite a launch lineup. Unfortunately, PC and Steam games can only be streamed via local WiFi, as there needs to be a PC running the games; this controller-based handheld is just a receiver for these more powerful titles.
The technology is interesting and the idea is out of left field, but the price and the inability to stream all games may limit the appeal of Nvidia's PC portable.

More to come

June 2013 is currently Nvidia's target for the Project Shield's release date. As that date fast approaches, we're hoping that the graphics card giant has some more tricks up its sleeve for this handheld - or at the very least a competitive price. Hopefully it can launch with the PC-to-TV streaming, or ensure that if follows shortly after. Otherwise, it may have a tough time finding an audience and end up inviting some unfavorable OnLive comparisons. That, or become a handheld that few put their hands on, like the PS Vita.

Project Shield: What you need to know

The first thing to say about Project Shield is that picking it up is akin to holding an Xbox 360 controller.
There are four individually colored face buttons in the same upper-right quadrant, and four shoulder buttons on top.
In fact, the only difference between the Project Shield controller layout and the Xbox 360 controller is the placement of the analog stick and D-Pad. Nvidia reversed the two.
In the end, PS3 gamers will feel right at home with this side-by-side dual analog orientation, while Xbox players will be accustomed to the overall body of Project Shield.

Nvidia tech specs

Under Project Shield's gamepad exterior lies an Nvidia Tegra 4 processor, which has a 72-core GeForce GPU. This is also the first quad-core application of ARM's most advanced CPU core, the Cortex A-15.
All of this translated beautiful graphics that maintained snappy movements and lag-free gameplay during tests.
Beyond the Tegra 4 processor, Nvidia wasn't ready to talk about the disk capacity that the device will have in the future. In fact, the company wasn't even willing to divulge the storage being employed by the current prototype.
On disk capacity, all that Nvidia has confirmed is that there will be a MicroSD card slot for expandable storage.
Other ports include a micro USB port, a headphone jack and an HDMI port for easy video output to a big screen. Nvidia, working closely with Valve, ensured that Project Shield would take advantage of Steam's Big Picture Mode.
Shield also has 802.11n 2x2 MIMO Wi-Fi, making it nice and speedy.

Nvidia controller interface

Besides the short-lived Hip Interactive Screen Pad Controller from a decade ago, this is the first screen-mounted controller that is getting a big push from a third-party company.
Its 5-inch touchscreen is 720p, and even though everyone's focus is on the gamepad, there is multitouch in the 294 dpi retinal screen too.
Having the option to utilize the touchscreen for menus while always being able to take advantage of the controller's buttons for just about everything else is extremely convenient.
The Nvidia also packed a powerful set of speakers into the top of the controller portion of Project Shield. It's twice the low-frequency output of high-end laptops.

Nvidia launch games and apps

One of the best parts of the Nvidia Project Shield is the fact that its launch games are familiar - it's everything you can already own on the PC, Steam, Google Play, and Nvidia's own TegraZone store.
PC and Steam games can be streamed to the device through WiFi so long as the PC running the games is packing an Nvidia GeForce GTX GPU - a GTX 650 (desktop) or GTX 660M (notebook) or better.
As a result, all of the usual suspects were on hand to play, including Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and Need for Speed: Most Wanted, and they streamed to the device flawlessly without lag.
TegraZone games and Google Play apps, meanwhile, can be downloaded directly to Project Shield device. Nvidia, being as open as possible, isn't gimping this version of the Android OS - it's running a pure Jelly Bean 4.2.
All of this means that Project Shield will have the biggest launch lineup for any handheld gaming system ever built. You can't beat the countless PC games, more than 18,000 Steam games, and 675,000-plus Google Play games and apps.

Project Shield battery life

Battery life is always a bone of contention when it comes to handhelds, but Nvidia thinks that it can pull off an impressive 20-plus hours from the Project Shield when streaming.
That's because all of the processing power is being handled by the GeForce GTX GPU-equipped PC. Project Shield's hardware, meanwhile, uses energy-saving PRISM 2 technology and a battery-saver core to lengthen that charge time.
Essentially, Nvidia is doing what Netflix and OnLive have done for users - having all of the major resources handled in another location and using WiFi bandwidth to offload the heavy-duty processing.

PC handheld in the home

Of course, the PC and Steam games need to be running on the computer to stream to a Project Shield. This means that the device's handheld capabilities are pretty much limited to the home.
With the exception of taking a gaming laptop with you to a location that has WiFi, this kind of negates most of the handheld gaming aspects outside of Google Play and TegraZone titles.
Nvidia did make it possible to boot up a game via the handheld thankfully. You won't have to run to the computer each time you want to load a new game.

Project Shield release date and price

Nvidia is currently aiming at June 2013 to get the Shield on the market, andit confirmed that a Q2 release was still on track at its recent investors' conference.
This rapidness is possible as the powerful but efficient Tegra 4 processor is ready to go and all of the launch games are spoken for through services like Steam, Google Play, and TegraZone.
One thing that Nvidia still needs to decide on, and quickly, is the Project Shield price. So far, the company has remained tight-lipped on how much it will cost when it arrives.
It did, however, reveal that the company had invested $10 million (around £6.5m/AUS$9.5) in the handheld, which gives it a much cheaper production cost than other big console launches.
Even without a set price, Nvidia is already setting its sights high for Project Shield. In addition to trying to sway gamers who have become bored with theNintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita, it's going after the broader smartphone and tablet gaming market, too.
Nvidia said that it created Project Shield to do for games what the iPod and Kindle have done for music and books. As long as it's priced right, Project Shield might just have the hardware to back up that statement.

Amazon dropped the price of the 12-month Xbox LIVE Gold Card to $40 on Saturday as part of an anticipated price match to a Best Buy offer.
The 12-month Xbox LIVE Gold Card is available for $39.99 from Amazon with free shipping available and no tax in most states. This is $20 off the regular price.

Note that this is for the physical card only at this moment and not the online game code that is distributed by email once purchased. The price of that is still hovering around $49.
Best Buy still has the 12-month Xbox LIVE Gold Card for $39.99 available but that is expected to end tonight when the retailer shifts to its new set of deals for Sunday. The same goes for Toys R Us at the $44.99 price.
An Xbox LIVE Gold Membership is needed to access online play and messaging services for the Xbox 360 along with the many entertainment and social apps including Netflix, Hulu Plus, Amazon Instant Video, YouTube, Last.fm, HBO Go and ESPN. Microsoft recently announced plans to roll out more than 40 new entertainment apps worldwide over the next year.

Microsoft Xbox 720 could have an eight-core CPU, according to new leaks.
This latest rumour is via BD, who posts regularly on TGFC, which is a Chinese forum. What’s special about him? Well, he is an ex-Ubisoft employee, and claims to know all information about the Xbox 720, including the RAM, and plenty of other stuff.
According to him, the Xbox 720 will have aneight-core CPU, and an 8800 series GPU.
Image:
It is also said that Microsoft will be using Windows 8 kernel for the system, which is pretty straightforward, as they have been pushing it a lot. He said that it will have 8 GB memory and a 640 GB hard drive
Treat this with a grain of salt obviously, as nothing is confirmed yet. However, these are times when insiders can leak out information for a variety of reasons. E3 2013 will be held on June 13, so not long to go before Microsoft finally unveils the system to the world.
What are your thoughts on this rumour?

We’ve been hearing for a while that Microsoft won’t wait until E3 to unleash its next-gen Xbox console. Reports this weekend say the launch event may happen in April.
The site also spoke to an unnamed senior official at Sony who claimed the PS4 launch had “Ruffled some feathers” in Redwood, Washington. He also expects Microsoft’s eagerly-antitcipated risposte to come in April.
