New to windows 8 ?

Windows 8 represents a fundamental shift in the way Windows works and is far more touchscreen-orientated for use on tablets as well as traditional PCs. If you're completely new to Windows 8 and haven't used a preview version, I'd recommend you to check out the following posts.
Generally Windows 8 has an awesome metro UI that will fill you up with the live tile updates of your contacts (on Facebook twitter, and your live ID), messenger ( connected to FB, Twitter, and your live account).
You can be in sync with the XBOX world. Play your music in Xbox music and videos in XBOX videos, Play live games from the advanced metro.The metro UI replaces the start menu from windows......

But it takes some time for the users of windows 7 to adopt to windows 8 because of some improvements (some ..., fine many options have been displaced and some are replaced). It will take some time to find them. But I assure that windows 8 will give the best experience for internet surfing. You would never like to come back to the desktop version once you know to use the Metro (I meant the controls and the apps that are developed specifically for the metro UI).
